We care about the kids with antibiotic-free, hormone-free beef and whole meat chicken. We’re offering kid’s specials to mix it up for them too!

Your kids will love real chicken nuggets, and you will love nightly chef specials including all of your favorite Texas flavors. Lunch includes anti-biotic/hormone free burgers and artisan buns, un-cured dogs, all-natural chicken, wild caught Gulf shrimp and more! Oh yeah, and breakfast Friday – Sunday!
Chef Rob Snow
Originally from the Alvin, TX, Chef Rob Snow developed his culinary skills around the country. After a summer waiting tables and cooking on Cape Cod, the seed was planted that would one day turn into a career. Rob attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu – Las Vegas where he was honored as Student of Excellence and Valedictorian of his class. At the time, working as a personal chef allowed him the opportunity to develop his skills and techniques on a daily basis.
After graduating, Rob was fortunate to be hired to help open FIX at the Bellagio. This experience helped to form all of what he has done in his culinary career since. After four years and the birth of his first child the family decided a move from Las Vegas was in order, and landed in Austin in 2007. Fortunate to be hired by Flemming’s upon arrival, Rob developed his knowledge of meat and seafood butchering, and his understanding of the corporate world of restaurants. He then accepted a Sous Chef position at Vintage Villas in Lakeway, Texas, and learned all that he could about banquets and catering, which led to a position with Sterling Affairs Catering in 2008.
Rob became the Executive Chef at the Mansion at Judge’s Hill in July, 2009 where he focused on Texas products and flavors. In January of 2013 he joined the team at Fore Lakeway to lead their culinary program to new levels. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family including his wife Sonja, and daughters Scarlett and Ginger.
With a lack of healthier options in the restaurant world, he decided it was time for a restaurant that focused on local, anti-biotic free, hormone free food that the whole family would feel comfortable eating at. That has led to Greenhouse Craft Food and what promises to be a great next adventure in his career.
